I totally agree with you. Haven't looked at what is trending but surprisingly exactly what husband n I went/are going with on our total remodeling of our home.

I think the "Yellowstone" series and spinoffs are driving the horse theme. It can look good in an office setting and so many people have home offices or spots nowadays. Thank you for the information. I've always been a blue person and lean toward the natural. Happy that I might be able to find some really good things this year.

It's really interesting but as a long time lifelong thrifter not only for decor and resell but also close I tend to stay away from the trends. If you have an Eclectic Decor you would almost have to totally change your Decor to go with the trends wouldn't you

Ive always been drawn to blue, lots of denim blue. Ive favored blue accents since the 80's despite the passing trends. I guess Ill finally be on trend. I absolutely love everything you showed today. Great overview Cory.

Happy New Year..i hope this Is a year of love, joy, blessings, & prosperity for you & your family!! I so agree with the blues & greens! I love old vintage wood pieces, small pieces & large pieces. And when i can find the pieces with green chippy paint.. those are my fav pieces in decor & furniture! I'm not A but & white collector, but i do love any color transferware. The blue & white was what my mama & grandma had as our everyday dishes, so i grew up with them but not knowing what they were other than dishes! I wish i had them, i know they'd be over 60yrs old now! My mama also had the tri-color dishes, they'd be over 60yrs old as well. I agree.. everyone loves blue & white & seems to be leaning that way in their color scheme. Everyone loves the solid white & linens as well. I think you're on point with all these! I don't think wicker will ever go out of style! I also agree with the art that's so popular. Lol I don't think the horse theme will be popular either! There are horse lovers out there sure, but i think that's a younger generation or maybe a bachelor thing.🤷‍♀️ Enjoyed the video and thanks for sharing your thoughts on trends & color schemes..i agree with them all! Just as long as we are DONE with that ghastly "Fifty Shades Of Prison Gray" trend. It was so sterile and devoid of any warmth---unless one was going for a morgue or correctional institution vibe. LOL

Thanks for your insight on these trends. I have decided to replace all the cheap artwork in my house with real oil paintings. I have already found two at Goodwill, one is a beautiful Fall Landscape and the other is more Spring or Summer colors. I’m going to take my time and only buy something that I love 💕 and not just some random junk to fill a blank space. I’m so tired of this boring modern no design, if I have to take one room at a time, I swear I am getting rid of everything and only buying quality antique furniture from consignment or thrift shops.
