It's good for RV's too, but you can't just call up Montana and ask for a plate. You have to have an LLC in the state and you register that asset with the LLC. There are quite a few companies that will set it up for you though, it's that common (aka not much of a secret).

Fun fact about Montana taxes. If you buy anything in North Dakota (east of Montana), while having your Montana license you can get things tax free. ND has some sort of agreement or something to allow this. I've been told people use this to buy cars and bring them back across state lines. However, this also works on everyday grocery items. When I worked retail in ND previously they used to have buttons for this type of tax exemption.

I'm from Montana. I went to the USGP in 2018 because Fernando was retiring that year (lmao). I was absolutely astonished by the amount of supposed Montana's who made the journey.

There was a chill guy with a newer aventador at a grocery store once maybe 5 years ago or. He let us sit in his car and everything. Looking back at those pictures, he had a Montana plate

Yea I see Polaris razors on the street in Camden, NJ and Philadelphia, PA all the time looking like they can straight out of the trails. And u see them Montana plates. That shit is wild, but I love it.
