Here is a high scoring run on Cave's newest game, DoDonPachi SaiDaiOuJou (SDOJ), on the port's Xbox 360 Mode, using Shot Type.
Xbox 360 is rather simple, but gets very difficult when playing for score, and makes a great addition to the port.
It is different as your character has a stronger shot, which is used by holding Shot + Laser, where it has got the name of ShotLaser, which reduces the health gage shown at the bottom and in digits in the top right.
Using the ShotLaser increases the amount of Hyper gained, which in return can be cashed out for an increase of the GP combo meter, resulting in a higher total score.
You only have 1 life in this mode, and getting hit reduces your health by 2000, so Danger appears on the screen once you are under 2000, as one hit will end your run. If you use a hyper and shoot things, then the health counter will increase, and let you use more ShotLaser to continue scoring high.
Most of the score comes from Stage 5, so it is best to spend most time learning that stage, and learning how to not get hit during the stage. A single hit ends your chain, and can easily ruin the scoring for the whole stage. Getting hit during the boss will reduce the Hit Bonus at the end of the stage, but it isn't as valuable as a stage-long chain.
