Yay! Using resources to teach subjects that aren't your strongest is awesome! That's what good quality curriculum is for! Neither homeschool parents nor teachers are expected to know everything off the top of their heads!

Yes, I hear all the time "You must be so patient, my kids would drive me crazy if we homeschooled." And I think to myself, no, I'm not patient and my kids do drive me crazy, but that's okay, cause I'm doing what I think is best for all of us. Hopefully soon I'll have the courage to encourage those parents to do the same.

I think "being weird" is different depending on perspective. I was public schooled and thought homeschoolers were weird LOL Now we homeschool and I think a lot of public schoolers are weird 😂

Oh patience...I have very little and God keeps putting patience-building moments in my way. Doesn't mean I am good at it.

Yes! We have to learn patience no matter what! It’s totally an excuse to use it.. if there’s a will.. there a way! Yes Jesus helps us with patience!
