I always settle on the "fast travel between settlements" mod. Feels reasonable, since you need to "own" the settlement to travel to it i consider it "fair and balanced"

Man I wish fallout 4 had the perks that new Vegas had. Shotgun surgeon and stay back were awesome. Although I guess legendary effects serve a similar purpose

Unsure if anybody noticed, but at the 26:46 mark the Gunner that died dropped a Plasma Infused Double Barrel shotgun. I know it was probably a downgrade, but it's still a pretty cool occurence.

As you discovered, the drawbacks of shotguns include a high risk of friendly fire. I think shotguns are the only weapon that can aggro NPCs even when you use VATS.

Vitribird travel actually takes less in-game time than fast traveling, this is helpful when you fall behind on timed radiant quests and settlement defences.

Did you consider using splitter mods for laser rifles and plasma rifles? I feel it would have helped spice up the weapon pool

Very nice, excellent run! Justice is a pretty good weapon, makes you feel like a badass. I'm glad it holds up on Survival.

If I did this challenge, I'd ditch Per and Agi. Shotguns are one of the few weapons I prefer not using VATS with. Instead, I'd get 2 Luck for Scrounger right away, and enough Str for Steady Aim. That way I could have a reduced spread without slowing my speed to aim down the sights.

And yes as you showed in Park St, shotguns in FO4 (unlike real life) are basically melee weapons.

Man, the combat shotgun in F4 is filthy good. I remember I was lucky to find a legendary bleeding one and wow, the bleeding damage on it just stacks so beautifully. Melts HP bars like nothing I've seen.

Premier was fun plus video was good too glad to see you, here is a challenge idea I hope you do, Can you beat fallout 4 with only items from raiders (cant sell items but can buy from the caps raiders drop, no legendary weapons, and survival ofc)
