We’re having great results from alfalfa so far. Rich leaf content, nice green color. Not so much with grass.

Honestly I have never seen an alfalfa field in person. It just does not grow in south Florida, even when we had fields. The only thing they grow here now is overpriced condos.

It was good hay until you raked all that dirt into it with that wheel rake. Fast but not for quality hay.
