My Cyclus facing tool just arrived and I plan to use it this weekend. I am so glad I checked for a video... the one you did is outstanding. Excellent job!

Hi - looking at purchasing this tool at the moment, how did you get even tension on the cutter? is there a technique with the spindle?

I can't believe how clear and easy you made that look I faced many bottom brackets in my day and I don't think I could have done a better video.

As you know the Park Tool version is far more expensive, can you give me an insight into the cyclus tool quality?

Also what prompted you to purchase of facing tool and do the job yourself when its a fraction at your local bike shop?
When I was a kid I had a neighbor just like you who had all fancy bicycle tools expensive Japanese truing stand, I fancy headset form from Park Tool I always looked up to that neighbor and now I do my own repairs and builds just like you:-)

Paint the surface with a marker before so you can see exactly what/how much you remove....

Nice video, thank you! But pay attention that french and italian bottom brackets work on the same rotation direction but with different pitch.
