Nice review. I have Bose quiet comfort 2. They’re amazing. One thing I’ve found though is that if the firmware isn’t updated on the charging case they will show the single flashing amber and white lights stating there’s a problem and to contact the manufacturer. After updating the firmware, it works fine.
I did extensive research on these three before going with Bose. Thank you for your review!

I’ve switched out my AirPod pro 2 ear tips with foamMaster ear tips and they stay in my ear for hours with better grip until I’m done using it. Plus those foam tips do a much better job at optimizing the noise cancellation feature on the AirPod pro 2 compared to the default silicone tips it comes with

I’ve watched a ton of these reviews for these three buds. Many good videos out there, but your video did maybe the best job of actually showing—not just telling. I already bought the Bose QC II before seeing your video, but I’m still watching reviews because I want some more clarity. The way you showed the fit, all the tips in detail, and squeezed the foam was so helpful. No other video I’ve seen did that. Really nice job. The line graphs were uniquely helpful too.

I was almost convinced to buy the bose, but when I heard the mic test I changed my mind. For that price I just want no compromises. So thanks for the thorough review

I think Bose is quite good in noise cancelling. I’ve been using Bose for years and my ears never sore and I think it’s better that it loses it’s noise cancellation in high volume settings/surroundings for safety purposes.

Went over several pages that compared those earbuds and didn't help much with my decision. This video was extremely useful for that purpose due to the great explanation and comparation you did on those 3 options so I really appreciate your effort with this video!
The decision went down to what I prefer between apple environment + better mic or being able to change the sound settings on the Bose's so the Airpods pro 2 won. Thank you again!

I went for the Bose QuietComfort Earbuds ii they are fantastic and for me being very noise sensitive and a very frequent business traveller they absolutely make the most sense. The adaptevness of the noise cancellation wins it for for me

I got the WF-1000XM4 since release. Speak to chat is absolutely wonderful, the amount of times that someone walks up to me or if I want to quickly focus on traffic is making this feature an absolute lifesaver. I only with that there was no white noise when using ambient mode. And I wish that I could toggle it with a tap or a voice command.

The noise-canceling is perfect, the battery life is more than enough. Only happens sometimes that I lose battery, but that's only when I forgot to fully charge them.

The ear tips still work well, and I have had no problems with them. When putting them in I do have to squees them like when putting ear plug in, but they will settle after a minute. Makes them never fall but also not as nice to put in and out of your ear.

Oh ye, the sound is fantastic! (Not an audiophile) but it's worse than the headsets obviously but I would trade them any day for the convenience.

It should be noted that on the XM4s it also has the same adaptive transparency mode as the pros and Bose. This is in addition to the excellent speak-to-chat function. The latter is far from a gimmic but rather an incredible quality of life improvement feature that is well thought out and almost flawless. Also battery life on the Sonys is double what is stated in the video. 8hrs with ANC and almost 12hrs with ANC off! Far cry from the 6hrs mentioned in the video. Have had my pair of XM4s two months now and 8-12hrs is spot on and what I get. That's before needing to recharge buds in case.

I own the Airpods Pro 2 and never tried the others... but being very balanced/neutral while still translating a lot of detail and deliver an immersive experience is precisely what I'm looking for in any headphones or speakers. As a musician who has been mixing and mastering music for 15 years, I like to hear things the way they've been intended to be heard and not ''enhanced'' in any other way. Just like I use calibrated TV and monitors, without any gimmicky options enabled or tweaking done to ''enhance'' any aspect of the imagerie, so I can see colors as the colorist was seeing them (or as close as possible).

I actually tend to prefer the stock tuning of the Sony's. They offer a nice emphasis on and texture to lower mids that's lush and unique. There's also a fair amount of high treble which gives everything a nice sparkle and airyness. Things like vocals do take a bit of a back seat, but I feel that the buds have good enough separation that everything tends to sound fairly well defined. That said, I am a little treble sensitive, so others might experience it differently. I occasionally experiment with more treble in the EQ but the original sound usually does me well, especially with very long use times.

I got the Sonys and I live in Japan so I had access to get the replaceable ear tips and I gotta say that it made the experience that much better.

I went for the AirPods. Seemed like the perfect fit for me as I do go to some rock concerts and the adaptive transparency has been a lifesaver when in front of the big speakers trying to take pictures. The squeeze controls are also way superior to the touch controls on other earbuds, as you can easily adjust the buds in your ears and not accidentally trigger anything. If you are seriously so lazy that you can’t be bothered to lightly squeeze something a few times then go for some other buds. The noise cancellation is really good as well and when combined with music at somewhere around 75 decibels I have not been able to hear anything but the music.

Edit: also I completely disagree with this guy when he says “go for the AirPods if you don’t care that much about bass”. It’s a very balanced sound and the bass is just right. It can be slightly punchy but it’s never overwhelming. It won’t be popular with fans who are complete baseline junkies, for that I would have a look at the skullcandy crushers as they have a literal bass slider, but for people like me who want bass but don’t want it to overlap any other sounds it’s perfect.
