Today We are going to dive in to how the ancient authors and audience of scripture viewed the structure of their world.
In America specifically there have been a lot of controversy surrounding the scientific nature of the creation accounts of the Bible.
What were the early authors of scripture trying to tell us about the reality of our world inside Genesis one?
Dr. Andrew Teeter argues that instead of picturing a vaulted dome the Bible gives us an image of plates that separate the different dimensions and realms and show the interconnectedness between the two spaces.

Yes, Yes, Yes, this is what God partially showed me over 10 years ago. Reading Hebrews I imagined humans, animals and plants to be a blurred mirror image of what is outside the three dimensional world. All is intrinsically and infinitely interconnected like fractals. I wish I had the brain of a Quantum physicist and a biblical scholar all combined… 😂😂

Interesting to consider the supernatural interacting with the natural in terms of dark energy, dark matter, quantum observations and quantum entanglement (spooky interactions at a distance), also the issue of the possible extra dimensions relating to unexplained natural experiences, and even God knowing the end from the beginning.

I would like to add what people see in near death experiences, or in one case where somebody in prayer saw the ‘unseen’ right here on earth as would a NDE see it. Even though there is above and below referred to specially, I think it’s actually right here dimensionally, but one is referred to as higher and another lower.

The description of heaven being a mirror of earth or vice versa is interesting because I'm pretty sure there's a video on YouTube showing how Einstein's maths behind black holes also showed the possibility of white holes and a parallel universe. Black holes are where mass collapses on itself down to even the smallest molecular level, white holes are the opposite, a source of mass, etc, spitting stuff out without it being able to return. White holes look like a simplified mathematical representation of God, and now the parallel universe portion seems to align with the mirroring heaven and earth concept.

To those who agree with Heiser and Mackey's accommodation view of Hebrew cosmology: Why does it never even enter into your mind that science could be wrong about cosmology? The fact that you never question what science says about the universe reveals your true faith. Science is your standard for truth, regardless of what you profess.

Being that the dome concept is one of the included definitions of the word "Firmament", and Psalm 19 speaks of a tabernacle in which the sun travels its course shining it's heated light upon the earth, the concept of the dome Firmament covering the earth cannot be discounted.

I'm still a Christian based on a) the experiences of myself and othera and b) the historical evidence for the resurrection (and if I did abandon my faith, I would see naturalism as a deficient explanation of reality). That said, these topics do make me wonder what in the Bible I can actually taie as real history. We know now that stars are not 'sons of God.' If that's so, am I supposed to believe that angelic beings really procreated with humans and that demons are the disembodied spirits of these human-angel halfbreeds?

Tim Mackey was always one of my favorites, however I am so extremely disappointed by his nonchalant attitude towards and glossing over of the very spiritual and very anti-Creator God foundation of the whole heliocentric model. Copernicus and company were Jesuits who had taken oaths to support Rome not our Creator God. To ignore the obvious turning away from our Creator towards the Sun God, Helios, is very troubling.
Our modern heliocentric model of creation cannot even stand up to scrutiny of the scientific model.
However, I don't want to get into the lack of scientific evidence in the heliocentric model.
My biggest concern is ignorance, whether willful or not, of the origins of heliocentrism. But, Ignorance does not negate those anti-Christ origins.
