The BLACK DINNER: Betrayal at Edinburgh Castle

Показать описание
In 1440, Scotland was rocked by the dark and treacherous event known as the Black Dinner. Young William Douglas, just 16 years old and the Earl of Douglas, along with his younger brother David, were lured to Edinburgh Castle by Lord Chancellor Sir William Crichton. Unbeknownst to them, this invitation concealed a deadly trap.
As they enjoyed a lavish feast, an ominous black bull's head—a symbol of death—was placed before them. The boys soon realized their fate as they faced a mock trial and brutal execution. This shocking act marked a ruthless power struggle that forever stained Scottish history.
