the main thing I take away from this pandemic is it shows employees in offices etc are able to work from home. Employers need to offer flexbility in where their employees work from, theres almost 0 disadvantages and numerous advantages to it.

The lesson is really simple (and everyone already knows it but often failed/refused doing it): that everything must be in ballance.
Ballance in globalization/localization, ballance in industrialization/nature preservation, ballance in online/offline life, ballance in personal freedom/public responsibility, ballance in capitalism/socialism, etc, etc, etc.

Because of the economic crisis and the rate of unemployment now is the best time to invest and make money 💯

We still live in Industrial Economies, in a world that increasingly needs a Resilient Economy.

I learnt the government i depend on is not dependable. The infighting within my government causes great harm, like ill behaved, spoiled children.

The biggest lesson from the past year: "Don't touch your nose".

Yeah, I can see why the illusion of perpetual growth might fall to pieces at some point, it's just too bad some "piramide schemes" like the banking system and the pension plans are kinda based on that premise in my view.

I dont want to imagine. I want to live it by the end of this quarter for crying out loud. This is insanity

Only thing that is worth living is socializing with others, unplanned and without social distancing. Not having that makes death seem very attractive.

I've never seen any US media interview the Club of Rome. The limits to growth are not an idea, they are fundamental to how Spaceship Earth works. The planet is abundant and finite, but good luck hearing that in public discourse.

No, nothing will change what the capitalists are after, the profit. They will forget the lesson, and always opt for maximum efficiency instead of resilience.

Governments are more concerned about how their population puts food on the table & health care now. Spending on a future event is never going to be the priority.

I imagine it without forced medical procedures and medication and without lockdowns. Boycott the post covid world if it is not truly normal.

If profit drove medical innovation we wouldn't have needed government funding of the covid vaccine up front. The reality is government funding drives the vast majority of innovation.

Isn’t it time to shift our ways of looking at ourselves and things?
Like for instance to see we, the human kind is the real pandemic
for a long time already?
Like some parts of our habitats which have already become irreversibly disrupted
as well as this virus, are merely expressions of the human pandemic.
This way of looking needs a paradigm shift.
But it will show a right way of looking now.
