Although Automap is not compatible with ACT, mixer control of Sonar is fully integrated with Automap (which brings mixer parameters names and values on to the screen of the controller automatically). VST plugins can also be wrapped by automap to enable the to be automatically mapped onto the screen as shown in this video

In Logic 8 you can fully control the mixer, as shown in the video. You can also control AU plugins as shown in the video. You can't control Logic's native plugins, however, since these are not standard AU plugins and Apple implemented control for Logic 9.01 and above.

How does this work in Cubase? I am talking about Cubase SX 3 and upwards...? Is there anything that it CANNOT control in Cubase? Thanks for your reply. You guys make an amazing product and the only thing I wish your control surfaces had is motorized faders...if it had that it could easily compete with Makies'!

Is the Zero Sl Mk2 designed to control one single parameter of various vsts within one host?? for eg. controlling cutoff of more than one vst or assigning it to one fader or knob or the cross fader

If you do this with Sonar's ACT, I will drop whatever I doing and run out to buy my own that second. I would love to see the parameter names for each of the knobs.

The problem I'm having is that Logic is not recording my automation or anything for that matter. When I'm not recording the SL MKII seems just fine. But when I hit "record" in Logic and start playing Logic fails to record anything. I'll get a blip of a note on the downbeat and then nothing. I've been looking everywhere for answers to no avail. : (

I'm having a bit of buyer's remorse. Automap (4.5) keeps crashing with Logic. And the transport controls work sometimes. …At least the keys work.

Hi All, I am still running Logic 8 and have just got the Zero SL Mk2 and am having quite a lot of difficulty sorting it out. Are there issues with Logic 8? In mixer I can't seem to assign the second row of dials to sends for example? I found the set up information really poor with many typo errors - for example inthe Logic set up instructions the part in the environment it said conect to ports 2 & 3 - I only had ports 1 & 2 in my environment ? Any help appreciated - many thanks Stuart
