yg artists have that swag and charisma, even if they won't dance that much. their stage presence is hard to imitate, you may come off as either "boring" or "trying to hard".

Everyone seems to forget that the main reason why other idols cannot cover YG songs is because their songs were literally made to fit their artists and standards. Their songs were carefully hand crafted by their own artists and YG in-house producers only. The songs were created to fit each artists' voice, vibe, swag and style. Unlike other companies, they don't have in-house producers and often bought songs from outsider. So, it is a lot easier to cover. JYP even said that nobody should sing YG artists' songs on an auditions cause it takes a lot of characters and emotions to make a justice for their songs. Yes. Nobody could slay their songs other than YG artists themselves.

This is what YG like. They make the artists being themselves and so unique. YG music always has unique characteristic that's difficult to be copied. Some of their songs may not that popular in KPop scene but I still like and appreciate them because the vibe and originality. If YG artists cover each other song they will also show their own character that make the song has different vibe. I have watched some covers of YG songs but the originals always hit different.

I remember this korean music producer said that, the thing about YGE is, they always practically did their cover for singing or even dancing by using english (western) songs since their trainee. That’s why they have these kinda swag things and literally can do everything.

Fact - not many fans know, but teddy once said that yg songs are made according to the idols . For example- HYLT was made for only Blackpink's voice, it won't come out good if any other sings it .
