Mechwarrior 2. Did you play the tabletop game from 1984 "Battletech a game of armored combat"? Mechwarrior belongs to Battletech franchise. The latest edition has very nice mech miniatures.
If rules in text format are overwhelming, an intimidating, "Battletech fan" channel has a visual guide intended to be watched with the rulebook in your hands.
You will love the tabletop game. It is like chess with some math.
