Very good illustration about what a glas pen can't do: just writing. :D

Forget about the pen. Look at those rings.

And i'm just here with a Ball-point half broken pen I keep at the bottom of my college bag

Funny enough, it won't shatter, it won't drop ink, is refillable and can be made into a bb shooter!

I never saw the point of glass pens for calligraphy. I think they are just decorative.

I can conclude that Glass Pens are a meme to the calligraphy world, but probably a gem (maybe the price, but primarily how it looks) to the writing world and an a more expensive drawing pen for pen artists

Using a glass pen, you have to constantly turn the pen; each of those grooves is a feed, and each one will run dry.

Can we take a second and ask why he’s wearing 20 pounds of iron as rings ? 😂🤣

I don't know why, but watching someone with beautiful writing/calligraphy skills just makes me sigh with relief. (my mom raised me to write in cursive and finding out its more or less a dying skill might be why lol)

looks like glass pens have a lot of liability and few assets

I have several glass pens. I love them. I especially love them for producing pen and ink line drawings.

@6:57 My glass pens work fairly well with fountain pen ink, or with the Iron Gall ink I made myself. The do no work so well with the Speedball India ink. The India ink works well with my metal nibs.

Beautiful handwriting + beautiful pen = Perfect combination

I got one as a present several years ago - I didn't have a lot of difficulty with it, but I was treating it like a technical pen (Rapidograph, Leroy, etc). But I can see where approaching it from a regular quill or dip nib hold would cause problems. As always a great video, thanks for sharing your skill.
