I was lucky enough to see Ann Reinking starring in Sweet Charity on Broadway.

This was from the show, Fosse, which was on Broadway Jan, 1999 - Aug, 2021 - 1075 performances. It won Best Musical, deservedly so.

I just now noticed one lady did this whole number with a cigarette in her mouth. She never put it down. I expected her to do that at many points but nope, homegirl was persistent.

I saw this a number of times in the Fosse show. I sometimes wonder how they might have ad libbed the come - on lines, and keep from laughing at some performances.

Of the two lead dancers, if that is Ann Reinking as Nickie (the Paula Kelly role in the movie)... who is that playing Helene (the Chita Rivera role)???
