Wildlife management should always extend beyond food plots and minerals, in fact, land and wildlife management should always start in the natural landscape. This area was closed canopy unmanaged timber only three years ago, but with a timber harvest, followup forest stand improvement, and a prescribed this area of low quality habitat is now thriving with life! Plenty of cover and food for whitetail deer, quality nesting habitat for turkeys and quail, and plenty of flowering plants for pollinators. This area will provide year round benefits for wildlife! #ForLoveoftheLand

Prescribed Burns do send Most of your valuable Carbon into the atmosphere, lost forever.
Goats and Sheep if available are a much more positive approach.
Adapt a Lease with a Rancher, whenever possible. That’s a Win/ Win !!
