this one took a bit over a month to complete!!
to be more specific, i started it on september 19th, finished the lineart on october 22nd, and then finished the whole thing on october 30th!

this was also the first animation i got to use a screen tablet on (xp pen 15.6 pro) which i used starting from the "even as we speak were synthesizing" scene and i really like it..

I have a HUGE thing for video and animation that syncs up perfectly to the beat of the music, and this scratched that itch super hard. All of this was fantastic.

I think my favorite bit as a "small detail to help sell a performance" type of deal is the backup singer forming the second "D" in "DEAD" shivering slightly because he just had to form it fast AND did it in a way that's way less comfortable.

I love how in 0:39 somebody is literally defying the laws of death and reality while the backup singers are just "damn that's a good lamp. Where did we get that? Ikea? It looks really good. Pretty bright too!"

I love the detail that the "leader" or w/e of these guys is set apart by the fact that he has circles under his eyes.

I could imagine a full animation where each time the chorus repeats they're cobbling together a more and more grotesque version of the person they're reviving because he keeps getting killed by a terrified public
