Diaper pails? A total scam. 💸 I’ve tried them all, and spoiler alert—they ALL stink. 🤢 But if I had to pick one, the Ubbi wins (barely). Save your money or just embrace the stink. 😂👶

I haven't had any issues with my Diaper Genie but I also make sure I take the trash out end of the day. It's poop and pee it can't just linger in our homes that long.

We have a mass amount of plastic shopping bags. I grab one for every poopy diaper. They get immediately bagged in a shopping bag-TIGHTLY TIED, THEN thrown in the normal garbage. We also have a medium sized garbage so it’s taken out about every day/every other day. That’s an important part too.

Yall remember that one lady who was so mad her diaper genie didn’t block the smell of a week worth of diapers?? And everyone was trying to say just take out the diapers more than once a week and she refused to do it. 😭

That's one of the things I love about cloth diapering honestly. Pee diapers go straight in the washer, poop diapers get hosed down out back and then into the washer, and I wash a load of laundry with it all at the end of each day. Nothing sits around stinking, and this method is fabulous for me.

I work at a preschool and after just ONE poopy diaper being put in the diaper pale, it smells so bad all day. Sometimes I take the garbage out twice just to get the smell out.

I’ve got a baby of my own and at home I do not use a diaper genie or pale. Wet diapers go straight to the garbage and if it’s poopy then I put it in a grocery plastic bag and seal it tight. I take my garbage out about 1-2 times a day depending on how full it gets or what I throw away. Doing this at home has never been a problem, and I don’t smell the dirty diaper at all. But at the preschool, with all the diapers smushed together, it definitely makes a stench.

Absolutely a scam. Get doggie park poop bags for the poopers and put them in the regular trash!

Wiping it out with cleaner every once in a while does the trick for me. I got a diaper genie second hand for $5 and I’m on my second kid with it.

True!!!! Complete waste of money. We got the dekor one and thought it would be so great. Doesn’t hold very much either. Just get a simple human trash can or a dupe and regular trash bags. That way you only have to take it out once a week instead of every couple days. No one has time for that and also sprinkle baking soda inside to help with odor.

I use a generic bathroom trash can that has a lid for my daughter and just a regular grocery bag for my son’s room. Both taken out at the end of the day. Thinking of just sticking with plain grocery bags for both lol
