Downgrade to Ultra-Wide sensor on 10 Pro compared to 9 Pro, even to 8 Pro, instantly made me skip 10 Pro. 10 Pro don't even have Macro mode anymore, which was introduced since 7T. OnePlus 10 Pro feels more like a regular 10 and not a Pro model.

There is 1 thing missing on the 10 pro. It's just a software thing. For some reason they removed the "Video motion enhancement" button. Might not be a big deal for everyone.
But for me it is. I've gotten very used to it and it's so nice for the eyes to watch. It's like a pillow for the eyes, every video is extremely smooth and i have gotten very used to it.

No idea why they removed the toggle. Both the 9 pro and 10 pro are using OxygenOS 12. Yet the 10 pro is lacking the software

Just managed to snag a 9 pro for under 400$ last week. I'm really loving it so far.

I have the OnePlus 8 Pro and as of tonight I found the OnePlus 9 pro on a flash sale and grabbed it for $639.99. Probably shouldn't have but it seems now as of today that the 9 Pro to now be a better device much better than it was upon its initial release. I'm curious to compare the 8 Pro and 9 Pro which I'll probably upload a comparison video on my channel. The 10 Pro I have not had any interest in at all because it's a OnePlus device that was produced after OnePlus became OnceWas. I have handled it in person and found the quality to be much cheaper than that of my 8 Pro which in all honesty the 8 Pro was produced when OnePlus was at the very height of their glory thus making it the very best iteration that OnePlus will ever have produced and it will always be their best. The 9 Pro I think to be and I'll know in a couple of days a much better device than the 10 Pro. In fact I don't see the OnePlus that is of today being around much longer. Maybe one more year or if it does remain OPPO will reserve OnePlus to be their upper midrange which is what the 10 Pro very much is. It has a lot of flagship features but at the same time a lot of very average at best features mixed in to include a midrange build quality that basically if OPPO keeps the OnePlus name going here in the US will no doubt be what the 10 Pro is now. An upper midrange. OPPO is not going to produce a true OnePlus flagship thus competing with themselves as a whole. I like OPPO don't get me wrong but they have zero presence here in the US and that will remain because Apple controls the mobile market industry here and they only allow Samsung to be the only other equal alternative. Google pixel has years to go being they just produced arguably their best Pixel to date but albeit with their own in-house processor that isn't yet comparable to Qualcomm and still sits well below the snapdragon 888. To digress I had not planned on getting the 9 Pro but at $639.99 I felt with it having guaranteed major software updates up to Android 14 that it to be a very good price being that the 9 Pro having finally had all the major software issues smoothed out and it what I believe to still be one of the very rare flagships to be available here in the US outside of the truly only two options that Apple will allow. Themselves and Samsung with a tiny bit of Google mixed in. Apple works outside what is free market enterprise thus controls and dictates which company to be their only true competitor that of Samsung and it will remain sadly this way until Apple either crumbles which isn't likely for many years to come so the US allows Apple to operate as a illegal legal monopoly and its an utter shame. Apple has been and will be to remain an absolute and this is why monopolies are illegal but the US government operates with Apple and Apple lobbyist under the table so what can you do. You have no choice but to choose Apple or Samsung. That's why I decided to grab the 9 Pro unlocked US model and will use my 8 Pro and 9 Pro until they have ran their last leg life span. Those of you whom have access to the numerous other truly nice flagships outside the US, this should be exciting times for you as you in fact have a healthy economics type Market that offers you a choice. Rejoice in that as the US can only look inward as an outsider. Have a blessed day.

OnePlus 9 pro is definitely a better deal here in the US where the choice is a OnePlus 9 pro with 12gb/256 for $799
Or the OnePlus 10 pro with 8gb/126 for $899! One extra year of software updates aren't, imo, worth the extra $100 especially when the reduced memory/storage!

I have the OnePlus 9 pro and I'll keep it. The 888 is a beast and it plays all my games beautifully. Not to mention the optics are perfect in my opinion.

Im still on the 6t and have been debating between the 9 pro or 10 pro? Thoughts? Want to make the decision today since its the last day for the extra 100$ tradein credit for the 6t

I have a 7T Pro McClaren, and I've been waiting for the 10 pro. But now I'm seeing the North America version is missing all the things I was waiting for (80watt charging, 12gb ram, 256gb storage), I am now considering the 9 pro. Such a let down.

I have the 1+6T and it is still running fine. My big disappointment overall is the OS update. However with Nothing about to launch the 1st ever device, I hope to see some improvement in the OS and security update in all android phones.

Thank you for the review.

What would be your advice to upgrade from 7 Pro? Should I go for 10 or benefit from lower price of 9?

Loving my 9 pro so far. Definitely not worth the upgrade..

Im sticking to my 9 pro 256gb with 12gb of ram. 8gb of ram and 128gb only for the US is a downgrade for me.

I have the OnePlus 9 Pro although the OnePlus 10 looks nice but I'll stick with my 9 Pro. My 9 Pro can do anything so I'm pretty satisfied.

I have a One Plus 9 Pro. I won't be upgrading to the 10 Pro but I'm interested to see what the 10 Ultra is going to bring to the table. If that is enough of a difference I'd be tempted.

Sticking with my 9 pro, I personally like the better sensor on the wide-angle... The larger storage and more ram, the fact that I can use mmwave in the few areas that have it... The 10 pro is a huge downgrade in so many areas in the USA

Nice video. Lots of information. Since I'm interested in buying one of the two i wanna ask if all the updates (till now) on the Oneplus 9 pro did fix known problems with the camera and picture Quality (Day, night), the battery drain and heating issues? If yes I don't see a reason to buy the Oneplus 10 pro.
Thnx.

You also forgot to mention that the OnePlus 9 Pro comes with a laser focuser and the 10 doesn't which allows the 9 Pro to focus better and faster versus the 10 which it only uses image focusing

I got an OnePlus 8T at the moment and I am due for a new phone. I really want to get the 10pro but the 9pro is way cheaper at the moment. Is the 10pro worth the money or should I stick to the 9pro.

also the OnePlus 10 Pro doesn't come with official IP ratings for Dust and Water resistance, where on the other hand OnePlus 9 Pro has

A major drawback I'd say to the 10 pro is that, for T-Mobile at least, they only have 128 GB option. With the 9 pro you could get 256
