Here at DG Motors we have a powerful silver Evo X GSR that previously made 360 whp with a stock turbo. Now, it's returned for more. Upgrading to an FP Black turbo we were able to crack 475whp on this beautiful car.

Well torque will throw rods on the 2.0's stock internals. On our blue X we have rods that are good for 1000 Torque. If yours is a GSR then the clutch will need an upgrade too, if yours is an MR you'll need SSP's 600 hp clutches, tranny cooler kit, and Pro Gold Fluid

great video man, and what an amazing car

@JSlShow It'll be fine. Our blue Evo X is making 750hp and 500+ torque on a stock transmission, stock t-case, stock differentials.

Mustangs and Dyno Dynamics read lower than most dynos so 320 Tq should be about the limit anything over 350 wtq from a mustang dyno on a stock block is probably asking for trouble

@bunchabugz17 Well, my father owned the shop since I was 3 so I just learned normal repairs from watching and eventually working for him at 14 years old. Then I got into racing at 18 when I got my first Evo IX (vids are on here) I researched a lot and the rest is all hands-on experience.

@moneyhungry8604 How do you think the trans is going to hold up? I know that the center diff pins is what blows our trans. Also, I plan on going with a similar goal, probably 450whp/350ft-lb on 93pump with stock block, until I can get it rebuilt. Do you think if I decided to go maybe 400's later on, my trans will be more of a issue or bottom block, considering they're both stock. Of course I plan on rebuilding it before I start upping the numbers. Also did he do a 1/4 with that set up?

@moneyhungry8604 What do you mean? Even with say... A 2.3 Stroker kit from ERL? I was planning on an FP Black setup with the ERL kit. I am making 352wtq right now on stock internals, stock turbo, stock head minus cams and beehive springs. What do you think will give out if I don't upgrade if that makes sense?

im thinking about upgrading my evo x soon and im looking for around 400-500 hp as a daily driver, i want a rough idea of how much it cost for the setup you have ¿

@1980lanasa I know Hollywood, and I expect this stock bottom end to hold up for many abusive miles, considering I limited the torque to 380 ft lbs. (torque kills the stock bottom end not horse power)

@JSlShow Just watch that torque # on the stock block!!! Don't go over 330 torque with the stock block, torque kills these 2.0s not HP!

Some one Hollywood made 555WHP its time to upgrade that 2.0 block to a 2.3 or 2.5ltr.. I will say nice WHP but I don't think your short block is going to last that long before your rod decides to jump through the block.
