Doesnt matter which pinoy horror youtube channel... the problem sometimes is the descriptive narration part is long the suspense to the horror part is killed along thenway andmyou wonder if this is more a kuwento than a horror suspense story... Bruh. Real Siquijodnons don't believe much in aswangs, maybe more on kwi-kwi (but in most stories, it's just there to annoy and scare families, not really kill).

It would be more believeable if "Sandro" came from a family of manghililo since that's more close to our local superstitions (note: not customs... but superstitions. That's why when people interview us about this, we say "it isn't true" 'cause it's literally just old wives tale here.)

Us Siquijodnons believe that to be a full-fledged manghililo, the person would have to basically curse or hilo (meaning poison) someone close to them. This could be their family members or friend. I've also heard of some of these hilo or curses being quite minor like just causing stomachache, bloating, gas, or headache. Of course, there are also really bad cases (or so they say).

Sandro is quite a Tagalog sounding name or nickname. And concepts like the aswang is, I think, also more prevalent in the Luzon areas. I hope if they make a character set in Siquijor next time, they make their background a bit more believeable.
