I normally wouldn't agree with this. Shaving a girl's head as a punishment is something I would normally call abuse, but considering the girl did this to another to publicly humiliate her, I'd almost say it's fitting, especially since all other means have been already tried in an attempt to curb the behaviour. It wouldn't be my first choice, but at least that may have been a humbling moment for her, and the hair went to (presumably anyway, providing they had the means to afford it) making the sick girl a wig she will be needing

I don’t know if I would have the courage to do the same thing… but I think you are a wonderful mom and a human being for teaching this lesson to your girl.. you didn’t hurt her or deprived her from basic needs, you just showed her that what she did to others was wrong and absolutely not acceptable in your family.. the younger generations are more and more mean and sooo hard to educate, you really did the good thing.. plus she will have time to think about what she did while her hair is growing back…

NTA. It wasn't completely shaved. Just a "big chop" what this child did was absolutely horrible plus down right disgusting. Idk what to do with awful humans pike this but maybe start with therapy

Honestly if it were my child I would have completely shaved her hair off. And no more good things will be gonna happen for a whole year and have to do all the house chores and no electronics and she needs to pay for the wig.

Not gonna lie would’ve done the same thing if my daughter wanted to be a bully, I would’ve been her bully. I would show her why she got a grind for what she’s gotten.
