@ $44K starting point for an SR5, I do not think so. I paid $42K for the limited in 2017, 82, 000 miles and never had a problem with it. I have done every maintenance required. The paint on Toyota cars suck.

Toyota is really trying to convince people to buy this piece of junk. I have owned several 4runners with no mechanical issues whatsoever. The V6 engine never faulted - I changed the synthetic oil every 3K miles and changed tranny every 40K. I WILL NOT PURCHASED ANOTHER 4RUNNER WITH 4 TURBO CYLINDER ENGINE. THEY SUCK. Just follow what is happening to the TACOMA.
