General Linear Models (GLMs)
-Simple ANOVA
-ANOVA with more factors (Two-way etc)
-Combination of ANOVA and Regression
-Multiple Regression
-Regression

ANOVA, Regression and the General Linear Model (GLM)
-ANOVA fits categorical effects (eg mice strain, treatment)
-Regression model fits continuous effects
-General Linear model (GLM) may fit both categorical effects and continuous effects
---Encompasses ANOVA, regression and models with both categorical and continuous effects
---Categorical effects denoted by sets of xi‘s with values of 0 or 1
