Columbianite is considered a sacred stone by the Columbian Indians from the Muisca tribes, called lightning stone or stone of light by the local inhabitants, it is usually a smoky colour and translucent with a pitted surface.

Columbianite is a high vibrational star crystal that has the ability to awaken spirituality, similar to Moldavite or Saffordite - aka Cintamani stone, which we also have in stock.

It also clears negative energy and emotional baggage.

Found only in South America, Columbianite is much rarer than Moldavite, and it's been used by shamans to communicate with higher beings for centuries.

Due to shape and appearance for many years it was believed they are true tektites , but recent studies showed they are in fact volcanic glass extremely well preserved Obsidian resembling Tektite (Pseudotektite).

Survived for 30 million years.
