I just got out of prison today. We had about 40 men watching 2 episodes a week of seasons 1-3. They are waiting for season 4. Many of the Bible studies I attended would mention the Chosen in reference to scriptures that were read. Many discussions took place about different scenes. This show made convicted felons cry.

I have been a christian all my life and have seen lots of shows depicting Jesus life. This is the best I have ever seen. It makes me feel that I want to know this Jesus. God is moving in the world and this is an example of how God works to change lives. Not through political movements but through HIs word working in peoples hearts. Remember Christ was not a political figure but the Son of God touching people one by one with his presence and word. Praise the Lord. He reigns forever!

Due to a traumatic brain injury, I have short-term memory loss. Chosen has helped me with remembering scripture by studying with the sessions and series that I have had a hard time retaining otherwise. Thank you

I began watching this on Netflix when I was in the hospital a few months ago. I had a brain surgery and I was very scared. But this series gave me so much comfort and helped me to be brave when I was getting ready for the surgery. I didn't know what would happen after the surgery. The doctors told me the worst because they wanted me to be well informed. As I was going into the surgery I asked Jesus to be with me and direct the surgery. Everything worked out very well. It was a successful surgery! Praise God! I'm still healing and recently finished a first round of radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Please keep me in your prayers. Thank you all so much for this show. It really helped me during a very scary time, when I needed to reconnect with Jesus as my healer and strength.

Hi guys. I'm from South Africa. My name is Subashni. I just got saved and this was the best way for me to get to know the Bible more. It motivates me to go back and read the Bible. I've never been more excited to read my Bible. Thank you guys. I've downloaded the chosen and want to watch it a few times. I have seen Jesus miracles.

I bawled my eyes out when Jesus got news about John the Baptist and had to pause the episode. Everything leading up to that scene and after it made me have a visceral reaction I've never had before. Jesus (whom I have a personal relationship with and whom I love) losing his cousin who was so close to him is something I knew and had head knowledge of for decades being a Christian, but this episode right here gave me insight of actual "heart knowledge, " and I found myself bawling with the episode paused muttering to myself "I'm so sorry Jesus. I'm so sorry this happened to someone You loved. Your cousin. Your family." This gave me spiritual insight that Jesus DID experience our human experience. I never had this before; again, I had the "head knowledge" of it and thought "ya ya, He went through our human condition." NO--it's not just "ya ya, He went through what we went through, " it's "He actually did go through our human condition, and my heart actually can see a glimpse of that now through this TV series inspired by the Holy Spirit." I've only read it through Scripture and have always believed Scripture to be 100% true, but through this series, I have a glimpse now of what that could have looked like in reality over 2, 000 years ago.

I started watching The Chosen a couple of years ago. Watched a couple episodes and didn't continue watching. I resumed watching a couple of weeks ago and now I'm on season 4. Spiritually I had been dry for about a year. I wouldn't admit it to anyone, until I visited a revival church and walked to the altar for prayer and prophetic pastor looked at me and told me I was spiritually dry. I was ashamed and shocked, but now understand God wanted me to know that he sees me and I needed to do something about it. So now my spirit is ALIVE again. I want to continue to know and learn about Jesus!! Thank you Abba. Thank you to all the cast of Chosen.
Shalom, Shalom. ♥ 👑

My little girl who is six told me she has never seen Jesus cry before. I think it was important for her to realize that Jesus has cried. That he experienced pain and sadness and grief so that she knows He knows what she is feeling too. He is acquainted with what we all have been through and seen ourselves. I think we all need to understand that when we cry out to Him, He understands and cares!

I was an athiest for a long time since I was very young. This show has truly changed my mind, I turned my back on God for so long, and he never turned his back on me. I'm a sinner, and now I see Jesus Christ is King. I give my life to you lord. I was asleep and now I'm awake. I have so much catching up to do, so much to learn. This show has put everything in perspective to me and I thank you, all of you that have worked on this master piece. You guys are truly all from the bottom to the main actor are blessed.

Something I missed when watching in the theater - at the end Zachariah mentions God's mercy. It struck me that God was merciful to wait until Zachariah and Elizabeth were very old before John was born. They didn't have to endure the shame that Matthew's parents had to endure - being ostracized from the community for the choices of their child. And they didn't have to suffer watching their only child be imprisoned and executed. They died before John had his ministry. He could be and do what God called him to be and do. He didn't have to wrestle with the impact of his actions on his parents. They got to experience the miracle of God giving them a child late in life and none, or little, of the suffering. God is good and thinks of all the details...
