Admittedly from WW1 and I don't know if it's true, but my favorite quote is the German Kaiser asking the Swiss chancellor what his quarter million strong Swiss army would do if a half million German troops invaded. Swiss Chancellor responds "shoot twice then go home"

Fun little fact Switzerland shot down or escorted allied and axis airplanes that violated their airspace. By the end of the war Switzerland had a pretty good amount of allied and axis airplanes that crossed into their airspace. Switzerland had a modern Air Force that it bought off of Germany

Funnily enough due to Swiss Neutrality it became sort of a middle man when smuggling goods(or at least a passage way) between the two factions aswell as a place to deposit gold again by both factions.

I think the what-if scenario would be after Operation Dragoon and not Overlord, since - for the Swiss - a land supply connection to the Allies would be essential. Also for moving through troops through Switzerland to open other fronts.
