"Club Soul City" is a song written by Bruce Springsteen and donated to Gary U.S. Bonds for his 1982 album "On the Line". This Viis a 55-seconds warm-up take of "Club Soul City" that was recorded sometime between mid-September and December 1981 at Thrill Hill Recording.
It's a short take of not much more than the title, repeated. V2 (uncirculating) was recorded at The Hit Factory in January or February
1982. Probably the same core recording as found on the Gary U.S..
Bonds album (i.e. the E Street Band) - but with the Springsteen lead vocal. Known to have been soundchecked twice in 1992 (June 21 in Milan and July 25 in East Rutherford) but never performed live.
