By far without question the Chad Weatherford collection are far and away the best not just fixed blades but the best knives PERIOD !!! Especially for skinning and hunting knives. If you are a hunter or butcher you can't find a better knife. Definitely worth the little bit extra they may cost . Me myself I'd gladly pay for quality. And all Weatherford knives are of the highest quality.

They will still be being used long after im gone no question about it

The Ka-Bar USMC knife had the worst build and finishing quality I’ve seen outside of 10 knock offs. I had this out of the box for maybe a minute or two before I boxed it back up and sent it back. Blade was bent. Paint chipped. Grind looked like it was done by a toddler. I’m amazed people keep them..

Ka bar is junk, the handle is off centre and looks goofy the tang gets so narrow under the guard it always breaks. It’s also criminally overpriced for the spec. Glock knifes for example are much much cheaper, more durable, better sheath and better all round. USA made knives are extremely overhyped and overpriced.
