The words of Bruce R McConkie speak to my heart. He added to my testimony every time he put pen to paper or spoke over a podium. I’m sure he continues this work on the other side of the veil. We’ve been blessed with great men to lead us!!!

I'll never forget going to Palmyra temple dedication on April 6th 2000. During the session I was in i remember hearing him ( president Hinckley ) say. "This day marks the opening of the 7th seal." I was flabbergasted.others seem to notice this too, but I think most people missed it. Was very cool. I have asked others and some remember it and some don't. So i don't know if he said it just in our session or all of them or not.

Having had Pres McConkie as a Mission president as a young teenager I did not appreciate him. Inevitably Stake Conference would always go over 20-30 minutes over making it feel like time would never pass. As an older adult I now realize how much I missed out on but as a newly baptized member at that time I wasn’t ready for what he was teaching. It has taken many years to get to where I have been ready to absorb and enjoy his teachings and insights.

Just let it happen. Don’t get too caught up with details. The Jaredites and Nephites were destroyed after peaceful times and the beginning of that destruction always started with disputations on doctrine. They would argue about doctrine and then separate and then the Devil took over. I like discussing this but never get too serious because God has the time set. We just have to be ready

President Nelson said, " prepare a people who will prepare the world for his second coming"
The key word here seems to be prepare. We have entered the time of preparation.
"The preparing of the way for his second coming".

"President Wilford Woodruff taught that we do know the generation when He will come." That statement carries a whole lot more weight when you realize that, in April 2020, Elder Rasband said: "We are the people charged with ushering in the Second Coming of Jesus Christ." Add on President Nelson saying we're in the bottom half of the 9th inning, and, I think, in my opinion, we're not too far off. But it is most important to be prepared to greet the Lord when He returns.

Back in 1981 I believe I was at BYU when President Benson spoke to the students. He raised his hand and pointed out all of us in the auditorium and said, " you, you of this generation. Very few of you will have passed away before the coming of the lord"

When the disciples of the Lord ask him what would be the signs of his coming, he gave them a list of various things to look for. We all know many of them such as wars and rumors of wars, pestilence, etcetera. But one of the things to look for was when the times of the gentiles had been fulfilled. He said that in that generation that Jerusalem would no longer be trodden upon by the gentiles, then the times of the gentiles will have been fulfilled. Again, that was 1967.

I was born in 1960 and my patriarchal blessing tells me that I will yet be alive in the flesh to greet the Lord and his coming. I hardly think that I will be 120 years old if he's supposed to come in 2080.

Yes, the seventh seal has been opened. Even on the Church website it shows the time frame of the beginning of the different thousand years. In the year 2000, the seventh seal opened. In Revelation it tells us that immediately and that uses that word immediately following the opening of the seventh seal there shall be silence in the heavens for about the space of a half hour. In doctrine and covenants it tells us the same thing only it says there should be silence in the heavens for the space of a half hour. One is approximate and one is definitive.
During that half hour of space wickedness will become exponential and rule the Earth. Violence will exceed its bounds. Even the Hopi Indian nation has prophecies that have been fulfilled regarding men becoming women and women becoming men during this time.
After the half hour of silence is over, the earth becomes violent itself, reeling to and fro. If you pay attention to the volcanoes erupting right now, the earthquakes that have been hitting, the fact that the cascadia fault line in the ring of fire has become extremely active including volcanoes that have not erupted in thousands of years, I would say that things are coming to a head. There is much more information combined with the talks by general authorities in regards to the time frame and I don't think we have until 2080 but that's my personal opinion. Partly because I know women in their 80s and 90s that their patriarchal blessing tells them they will be alive in the flesh to greet the Lord in his coming that they will not taste of death.

There is a big difference between the book Jesus the Christ and the others. James Talmadge was commissioned by the First Presidency to write this book, and he was even given a room in the temple to work. If there was ever a book closer to scripture it is probably this book.

I believe we are absolutely in the 7th seal, and anyone paying attention can see it. The phrase the Lord will reveal himself will likely be like a curtain dropping and we’ll all see Him suddenly, realizing He has been here for a while, more and more, taking care of business until it was finally time.

I just wanted to thank you Jared! You’ve opened my eyes to so many things over the last year or two! I know when I first found your channel I absolutely was one of the annoying people you refer to when you say that people always complain about Bruce R. McConkie not always being accurate, etc. but I love that you have fixed that doubt in my mind time and time again. The truth is, as someone who has always been slightly obsessed with studying the second coming, I always wanted to love the writings of McConkie, especially millennial messiah, but someone told me in college that “you can’t trust everything he writes” as well as with Joseph Fielding Smith. I am super grateful for how much you have opened my eyes and helped shift my perspective away from those initial doubts I was once told. I much prefer the position of wholeheartedly trusting in our prophets and apostles. Again, thank you. 💕

What I found interesting is that geologists commented on how quiet the earth was during the COVID shutdowns, due to most people staying at home.

Christ comes in the beginning of the 7th seal, President Nelson’s warning of time is running out pointed out to me that we are in the 7th seal. Time is running out. Also, his “now is the time for you and for ME to prepare for the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ” 🥰😊

Lots of things happen at the beginning of the seventh seal.
In Rev 8 the chapter heading says quote “Chapter 8
John sees fire and desolation poured out during the seventh seal and preceding the Second Coming.” End quote. Then chapters 8-10 talk about all the desolations that have to come when the 7th seal opens and before the Savior returns in Glory. The 7 Angels and Trumpets.
We have been in the seventh seal for quite awhile.
