That’s crazy how someone can do anything like that without any consequences. There should be more checks on garages and big fines for the ones how doing such a thing 🤦🏼‍♂️😊

Great post, I’ve always driven diesel cars and the only one that gave me problems was my Vectra 1.9 diesel it was needing a regen practically every 1, 000 miles towards the end of its life and I always drove it like I stole it when it was doing the regen, it was a flying machine compared to other Diesel engines that I drove 😊, ps I dodged a bullet as I was thinking of getting a sky active Mazda but went for the RAV4 2.2 diesel instead, yet the Vectra 1.9 was much faster than the Toyota

U know, once i made a comprehensive spreadsheet about diesel car costs compared to gasoline engine, i came to the conclusion that the reason for most diesel car being neglected proper maintenance is because it results dissapointing as a owner to open your eyes and see that you will not reduce your costs unless your diesel vehicle is part of some business model that includes complete removal of the oil and filters market extra charge

Skyactiv engines are amazing before production to be told to reduce emissions like that Mazda did their best to go on sale

And most current Gen engines hardly give major problem’s

Hi Mr.Nice guy i have a question! I live in Norway and i was wondering if those carbon cleaning machines with hydrogen are doing any work! I know they not gonna be equal to the one you show in your videos but do you think it is worth it for 170-180 pounds? Thanks in advance! (I have a 2.2D M3 171K kms)

Hi mate
I waiting for this video because my car exactly same problem and carbon buildup same, I did change exhaust camshaft and carbon clean and my car still on ramp.
If DPF deleted how can I return it back to OM ?
I have kingbolen k10 scan too

Here is an engine that has had regular oil changes, the injector seals are good, the exhaust camshaft is not worn and even though the inlet manifold ports are blocked they don't look oily (indicating oil in the air flow from the turbo). So why, in your opinion, did the dpf get blocked and the regens fail? What has caused excessive particulate matter to enter the dpf?

I have a similar problem with my mazda 6 2.2 diesel. I was getting constant oil level rising. replaced the dpf sensor(i think) to the updated version but still oil rising and dpf warning now snowing. Had a dpf and egr delete done and mapped out of the car. Now the mechanic tells me my turbo is gone and needs to be replaced as the dpf blockage broke it. The car can bearly start, once it does it revs up dow up down untill the engine stalls lots of smoke from the exhaust. I believe the guy who remapped the car mad some mistake as it makes no sense that the turbo would fail like that. any advice Mr Nice Guy?

Hi, thanks for another very informative video, very helpful. Can u confirm where in UK your garage is based please? I've got CX5 2014, my intake ports are similar but slightly better. When I go past 3000 rpm it stops accelerating and it hard to get over 90 mph. So would say it's due to not enough air for combustion at higher revs due to carbon build up and I need to walnut blast them? Thanks in advance

I too made the mistake of having dpf deleted, what a nightmare, in the end a got another dpf fitted and took it back to where it was mapped and had all thier map software removed and returned to stock, more expense because of cowboy, so called mechanics,

Exhaust cam shaft is the failures of this engine cam shaft filing destroyed the engine . Stop Exhaust opening causeing excessive black soot from Exhaust blocking dpf

Dpf problems and carbon build up often come from defective egr valve (stuck open). In this case, the tuning would have been great if both egr inlets where blocked with plates.

If egr is blocked correctly. The intake manifold and ports would have cleaned itself over time due to crank case breather going to air intake before turbo.

If egr valve is stuck open while driving. The combustion temperature is too low due to co2 and the dpf is not able to regenerate causing it to get blocked.

All of this causes alot of stress in engine due to excessive regen...

Mazda’s are all over the Internet spares or repairs they do and make one of the worst diesel engines on the planet. They’re always breaking down. They’re always messing up with the DPF and the EGR valve. I think the only way out of it is to reap the car and delete the DPF and the EGR valve out of the ECU.
