This is the first time an expansion specific mechanic has been re-used.

I wonder if this means we might see a return of others such as Soul Fragments (Which would help with that Warlock hero power in Duels, oh wait...), Plagues, Wildseeds, SI:7 and even the new Asteroids.

All of sudden my excitement for this expac has sky rocketed lmao. Librams is originally what made me start playing Paladin so I'm super excited to see my favorite archetype back

The Libram enablers seem slow so far. Slower than the original ones from years back. The librams themselves seem fairly strong, but so far they seem most effective if you're already ahead on board, which won't be the case with the enablers being as slow as they are. I wonder if the final cards will have a libram to facilitate a swing turn, such as removal.

it would be so nice to see libram paladin cards returning to standard in the new year, this would be AWESOME to see with the new support from Paradise

When I looked at the leaks and saw Librams were back I instantly had the idea to make a wild deck.
As it turns out, that Libram that gives +1/+1 can discount ALOT of cards.

More specifically:
Arcane Giant
Lightray
Devout Pupil
Sea Shanty
That one "Gigantic" Lightbulb

& since it always comes back to hand when the minion dies you can also add Living Horizon to that list.

the most ironic part about the new aura is that Leeroy (that Paladin loves to run in many decks) is a counter to it.
Also there is the neutral minion that still can give deckhand windfury but than again you have atleast 2 minion on board except you can kill the other one.

I wonder if they’ll give support to Named archetypes like Relics from Demon Hunter. It would be interesting seeing as most card games make such with Structure decks to be bought. I really think aside from new Keywords, revisiting past Keywords for an expansion/making it evergreen or supporting Deck Types really does help the game last longer. Almost makes me question if the Paladin’s Silver hand Recruits will end up with different Tribes considering their different randomly summoned art for each, it reminds me of Shaman’s Totems. It would be interesting to have cards that summon silver hand recruits of a specific tribe like each squadron being better at certain strategies and more menagerie support too.

Celestial Aura will be best with something that summons 1 minion as a deathrattle

I'm just thinking about that 3 mana 3/1 draenai that drew a spell 3 cost or less and made it cost zero for the turn. This feels made for that.

Wait, about the 6 mana aura. Does it apply its effect continuously? Like if you have a minion will it always be at 10/10 even if it got chip damaged or only apply when the minion is played/become alone? Because if it apply its effect continuously then you'll always have 10/10 taunt for tree turn as long as ur opponent cant kill it in oneshot.

Just 2 points.
}
1. There are a neutral 3 mana pirate who gives to some another pirate windfury in standard.

2. The 6 mana aura is a permanent stats. So, imagine You play the 2 Mana rush lifesteal after playing aura and they are your unic minion. You make an trade, for example, in 8/8 enemy minion. After that, you minion returns to 10 health, regaining the 8 health lost on the combat. It is a great control tool, not just agro tool.

If Paladin ever gets a 1/1 Taunt that summons a 1/1 Taunt when it dies, Celestial Aura could get very very scary.

Celestial Aura + Taunt = your opponent has hard removal (or can deal 10+ damage in 1 attack) or they can't kill you. The minion can't take damage, it's health IS 10. Until it's reduced to 0, it'll keep reseting back to 10.

Time to run Harthstone Brew in Libram Paladin in standard for the chance of getting more LIbram support

Libram was really slow and inconsistent and got destroyed by any aggro or midrange decks. Too many holy support cards rotated out and not available in standard too. Hoping it does better with card draw.

If I’m not mistaken the amalgam keeps the 10/10 statline when it leaves the board since they updated temporary effects to work that way (I can check later today with obsessive fan)

I like how this is also a buff to old cards and not just some good new cards

The 6 mana aura reads like the minion will always be a 10/10 and be immune to damage
