Watch Newport County vs Bradford City EFL league two. Rodney parade, the home ground of Newport is also a rugby union ground. Even though the rugby lines on the pitch had attempted to be removed they were still visible and the Bradford keeper caught the ball outside the box, just behind the rugby 20 line, apparently believing it to be his box. He only got a yellow card. Pretty funny.

Yes it’s a red. The ball needs to be inside the penalty area to be handled, the GK can be outside the area as long as the ball and obviously his hands are inside

yes it is a Red Card due to DOGSO. I would say it is close though. If handling the ball was not DOGSO, it would be just a yellow card.

Certainly handling, but why was it a red card? It wasn't DOGSO, he could have easily headed it or took a step back, he just lost track of where he was. I would not have issued a red card, or any card.
