Just picked up a 2009 GT500 with 11k miles for 28k. Car was owned by a 78 year old guy that hardly ever drove it. White with red stripes.

We have a 2013 GT500. We brought it with us to Germany. She loves the autobahns. I normally keep her between 100-150 MPH, but we've hit 195 +/- on a few occasions. I still get nervous passing the Polizei at anything above 120, even though they don't come after you. Very good and detailed video!

I had a 2008 gt500 that was in great shape. Older guy used it regularly on the weekends and went on long cruises, had 126k but ran like a beast!! No dents or scratches anywhere on the paint

I picked up an 07 108k well maintained tastefully modded (lowered on 20s, bolt ons, dyno tune, 4.10s, mgw, bluetooth pioneer screen etc) for 16500 recently. One of the cheapest clean title gt500s ive seen. The milage is higher than usual but still not bad these motors are tough. Its performance white stripe delete. I just recently picked up some gunmetal f14 drag pack wheels 17x7 front 17x10.5 305/45/17 et streets.

My car wasnt daily driven it def wasnt driven in bad weather it is too nice underneath it. It has def been well maintained. You can also tell by the things that was done to the car..if the mods are top notch best of everything that goes a long ways towards telling you how it was taken care of. The miles are higher but not bad at all for a 2007 and you can def tell it was taken care of...interior is clean too. The price def reflects the milage but the loan value at my credit union was 17700 so i got 100% of it on loan with 0 downpayment that just shows you what a deal i got and on top of that shows how well these cars hold value. ALOT of car for the money. I cannot wait to get my drag pack on the car so i can actually hook. Not gonna launch much if any from a dig till i upgrade to a 1 piece ds i just wanna be able to hook from a roll. Car also has an 800 hp twin disc mccloud clutch not sure of i spelled that right lol. All the essential small mods that wake them up are done, 2.6 pulley, cj twin 65 tbody, jlt 123 cold air, offroad hpipe and borla stingers and it has been dyno tuned by pro dyno in sc. Seems to run awesome but i am gonna get it retuned by lund because i want an ngauge plus i am planning more mods in the future and ill need tuning. Lethal sells a tuning package with a lund tune and ngauge along with the wideband and 3 bar boost sensor that is needed on 07-10 gt500s for 1300 total. So it is a little more invested up front for the tune but not too bad considering how much less you pay for the car. Love these cars. I liked mine alot because the few mods it does have is exactly the stuff i would want anyways..like 4.10s, mgw, hpipe and borla stingers (literally my fav setup on these cars) the twin disc etc. Those are the exact parts i would have wanted anyways so it saved me alot of money in that regaurd too. Nice video with good info. Some people think the early models suck because they have less hp stock but theyre just as good considering how much less they can be had for and they really wake up with mods. The 07-09 feels raw as hell too i love it. More refined than new edges but more raw than the newer gt500s. It is a badass car.

I bought a 835hp 2014 GT500 2 years ago. It's got 16k miles and is immaculate inside and out. Fully loaded with every upgrade from the factory and an additional 25k invested in upgrades. It stands out even among other Shelby's for all the right reasons. Bought it with 9600 miles and got a GREAT deal.

Greetings from Russia. We have 2-3 of them in Siberia. Due to the huge customs fees, we consider this car a luxury. LOL. An excellent, reliable horse, like all American cars! By the way, 2014 looks better than new.

We picked up a one owner 09 GT500 with 32, 000 miles for 26K. Unbeknownst to the dealer, the original owner had taken it to GALPIN Autosports for some tweaking? The supercharger has been upgraded to a Whipple 2.9L with a 3" pulley, SVT Suspension handling pack, 3:73 gears, Mcleod RXT Twin disc, Shelby short shifter, Bassani axle back exhaust, Edelbrock panhard bar, Steeda lower trailing arms, Shelby carbon fiber splitter. We feel we did pretty good on this purchase.

Just payed 40k for my 08 gt500 🤯🤯.... but it only has 2k miles bone stock unmolested and still smells like a new car inside and still looks like one on the outside lol. Still has the sticker on the diff cover. So id say its worth the money

Had a 2009. Best car I've ever owned. Nothing broke. Nothing. Power? I could put it sideways if I punched it in 3rd. Prices had held steady - outdoing the V-12 Aston Martin.

Great video! I just picked up a stock (minus the Borla Ataks 😎) 2011 25, 000 mile GT500 in Kona Blue, stripe delete and performance pack for about $36k. Looks like I'll be ordering shifter and clutch to get rid of that 2nd gear grind!!!

I love my 08. Bought it at 19. 750rwhp 90k miles car is still running like a champ. Those iron blocks may be heavy but they’re strong as fuck!! Also great to see all the 07-09 owners in here with high miles!

Good video man! I’m actually selling my 13 and I am the second owner. My engine bay is immaculate and it’s one of the cleaner ones out there. I daily drove it for a little while but the last 3 years it has been my garage Queen. The mileage is a little high at 40k but it has been babied ever since I picked it up in 2015.

Great vid and informative! I was very fortunate to come across my 07 black convertible last month with less than 400 miles as it originally was from a collector. Been dreaming about owning this exact model for 15 years. Love the retro, classic, simple and raw look!

Carroll did say these cars were meant to be driven. Of course you want lower miles on any car but these cars can definitely be still amazing over 100k miles
