Great video. As a long term holder and trader we don’t care much about current price. As a trader looking to buy when oversold and sell when overbought, the weekly and 2 week charts are showing us we’re oversold and it’s a great time to buy more. Price on 2 wk bouncing off a rising 20 MA. Price on weekly chart is bouncing off a rising 40 Ma. The stochastic RSI on both charts is way oversold. Translation, great time to buy. Thx again for the different ways/ perspectives/ lenses to look at BTC’s potential. BTC is the ultimate been engaged in active trading and managed to grow a nest egg of around 2.3Bitcoin to a decent 21Bitcoin....I'm especially grateful to Seren Wintersun, whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape.

Toby, as always your calm approach is refreshing! I too am a long term investor, and the way that I deal with the various peaks and lows is to not log into my investment portfolio too often across the year - all my investments are set to accumulation so dividends are automatically reinvested, so really don’t need to make any changes across the account.

I am still heavy on cash ISA's and bonds bringing in a fabulous 4% and I know I am losing a bit of money every year. I have 4 years to retirement and I cannot bring myself to invest more in this market. I had most of my funds invested in European markets but last Xmas I panicked and swapped my money to S&P expecting the tariffs to take their toll on my investments. I have also put a small amount in a Vanguard global fund. I think the USA will be very unpredictable over the next 4 years and markets hate that. Appreciate the video helps me to keep things in perspective.

I started investing last month, fantastic timing as always 🤣 I've only known red... I'm enjoying the ride though, DCA'ing a set amount every week, makes no difference what the market is doing right now (although it is FAR too tempting to check it every day at the minute for me)! I'll worry about what it's doing in 30 years!

would love to see more content about emotional resillience during bull runs/bear traps in the stock market, being completely ignorant of stocks, indexes, platforms etc. this video has really helped build mental fortitude during this possible correction period.

In my ISA portfolio the thing that’s doing the best is ATOS and it was something I picked just to take a punt on as it was so low. 😂 everything else will go back up at some point I’m not worried.

I have about 5% of my portfolio in Rolls Royce and it’s up 97% as of today. The rest in a global ETF not been as green recently.

I've experienced many ups and downs, and there have been some dramatic downs in my 30+ years of investing. I'd agree with your advice for those with several years ahead of them. I've gone 70% into Money Markets since Trump was elected and the other 30% in a fund that holds over 12% in gold, a bit in bonds and a bit more in major "boring" multi-caps. In the last week I dropped all of 2 grand in a portfolio of just over 500k. I'm now retired and made a lot of money in tech etc, it was concern over tech "froth" and Trump openly saying he was going to mess with stuff he shouldn't be messing with, the Fed etc, that made me switch tack.

Not caring above whether your investments are red or green is a sensible thing to aim for. It’s another thing to have that really tested by a prolonged and big drop. Those who started investing in recent years have not yet had to weather one of those.
