As a person that lives very close to Stl, I can say this is crazy correct.😂

I was born and raised in University City in the 1960’s-1980’s.
St. Louis certainly has its “Uniqueness “.
There’s so much to like about it and so much to hate about it.
It’s not only just friendly, but it’s “kid friendly “. There’s SO much to see and do - and not just kids.
There’s just TONS of places to go, things to do, …. I’m in Jacksonville Florida now, 15 + years, but some 30 years in Florida. The only things I’ll say about Jacksonville, is that it is very much integrated, and I think that makes a huge difference. When protesters rail up in many cities, our protests are civil, and controlled.
But outside of the Jacksonville Jaguars, we have almost nothing to do, except the Beach.
Jacksonville pretty much just shuts down at about 10:00. Except for a few places.
As violent as it is, I still miss it.

stoppp this is so true. i live in st. louis, a good part the suburbs, and whenever you meet someone it’s like what high school did you go to? like i’ve have never not been asked that question a billion times
