this is great advice, but please consider rent prices in different areas of the country. I'm in NJ right now & the average rent price is about 1.8k- 2.1k

Thank you for this video. In addition to setting aside additional funds as a cushion, The credit score must be decent when one is being considered for apt rental. That would also determine the amount of the security deposit or whether or not the person is even eligible for the apartment.
