A NEW 5-Minute Video is dropping this week!

Would you rather live in a Red State or a Blue State? We're supposed to be the United States of America but in many ways, we're now divided into two different nations: red states and blue states. Which states are succeeding? Which ones are failing? And why? To answer these questions, economist Stephen Moore compares them side-by-side.

As a Texan, I welcome all who come to Texas fleeing from Blue states. We only need you to do one thing; let people know what you believe and vote Red in every election. There’s a reason why Texas has been so successful, and to let democrats run the show would destroy it.

As a Texas native I welcome the refugees from Blue states but PLEASE, everyone here in a Red state, make SURE to tell refugees from blue states to not vote for the liberal policies that destroyed the fabric of their societies and their economies in their previous state.

Unfortunately, I moved from the People's Republic of MA to the Live Free or Die state and we have purple areas up here. I wish that people who escape from Leftist states would leave their failed politics behind them.

"The Bourbons maintained their power by dividing the poor and working classes along racial lines so that they would not unify for their mutual betterment by raising taxes on the wealthy, improving schools and making government responsive to the needs of the masses rather than protecting the wealth and position of the Bourbons.
The Southern states have long followed what are now doctrinaire Republican policies: minuscule taxes, no unions, aggressive pro-business policies, privatized public services and strong police forces that kept minorities in their place. Yet the South is and always has been our poorest region and shows no sign of converging with the Northeast, which has long followed progressive policies opposite those in the South and been the wealthiest region as well." Bruce Bartlett, 2016.

I like how you present the choice as if we had one. How about a state that makes it it’s business to stay the hell out of others? Doesn’t penalize the hell out of every little thing. Works toward erasing old laws and not making new ones, and making a big state government small again. Returns the power To the People.

You can directly correlate economic freedom to state GDP growth. It's very obvious that red policies work and blue policies don't.

I want to live in a red state but the real question is what can you afford?

For the people moving out of blue states and coming to red states, please don't tell all your friends and family (regardless of their politics) back home how great it is. That's the best possible thing you can do for the state you moved to.

Bug government that infringes on rights is why we fought fir independence from England. Though we dont learn a lot about that anymore in school. Those that don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it.

Duh! I'm moving from a blue state to a red state, and I am not one of those people who will bring the blue with me. I will help strengthen freedoms wherever I am, but I have given up on this blue state.

I left Massachusetts for Missouri. Although it's not considered a red state, my experience is that it's definitely more conservative when you get away from the major cities. But I would prefer a red state, but I like the country living where I'm at.
