Not bad.

Kid might crack the roster as a 4th line grinder

I'd love to see what Phil Kessel's combine looked like :)

for those saying he looks weak/small, go watch Tom Brady's Combine. This doesn't mean anything.

McDavid did wonders for the OHL and the Erie Otters, It's sad to see him leave the Otters, but it is amazing to see someone I grew up watching play hockey accelerate to what will be the "Next best thing" to say of hockey

anyone notice his standing long jump result was 97.3 inches

He is the fastest skater (probably ever) and he has the best hands I have ever seen. He is unreal. Having said that, my 16 year old daughter jumped the exact same distance in broad jump and out vertical jumped him by 5 inches. LOL

All these people talking about their athleticism and strength truly show who know nothing about hockey haha. These are 17, 18 year old kids who spend the majority of their time training their skills on the ice. Weight and off ice training is not a huge factor for a lot of them until after the draft when they need to put on weight in order to have a chance competing at the bigger stage.

You just can't compare these guys to other sports. In football half the battle is just about being as big and strong as possible, plus during their combine the players are much older, been through 4 or 5 years of college...

By their early 20s after developing some more they will be beasts of athletes no doubt about it. Example- look at Crosby his draft year compared to now.

It's crazy to see what he becomes on the ice, because these numbers are almost sub-par for an 18 year old athlete... What a phenom!

I wish someone uploads Johnny Gaudreau going through these tests. He was 5 6 and 130 during his draft year and is now lighting up the NHL.

Lol. If you guys think the Combine is useless. Then you don't know/play hockey. All these are hockey specific tests. It also shows what a persons potential is or whether he needs a few years to develop in the minors. You can't just go to the NHL without working on explosiveness, power, agility, and speed in the gym.

these tests don't determine anything lol. everything changes once you're on the ice.
