The journey towards delivering the Well-being of Future Generations Act (2015) across Wales

The Commissioner discussed the relevant aspects for health and care within the report and gave her assessment of the progress made in implementing the Well-being of Future Generations Act.

The Commissioner explored the findings and recommendations for Welsh Government, and provided her insight and views in relation to COVID-19 and post-COVID recovery, and what public sector bodies, including the NHS, could be doing to support the health and wellbeing of the population now and in the future.

The event intended to inform NHS leaders and health and care stakeholders of the key decisions required to reset our society and pave the way to a different future in Wales.
