Intel will definitely see 50+ in the long term with this move. He’s a genius. And the fact that he left the company when it was doing poorly over differences in long term vision, but has returned to rectify the poor job the old officers have done shows he is very firm in his belief he can turn the ship around

Lip-Bu Tan is good at the chip design business, not the chip manufacturing business, but Intel has no better choice. From what I know about Lip-Bu Tan, he will choose to cooperate closely with TSMC and will not choose to fight against TSMC as Pat Gelsinger. I think TSMC will like him
