An emotional farewell in Delaware for U.S. president-elect Joe Biden took place as he headed to Washington, DC on Tuesday, remembering his late son Beau and telling supporters, "We should be introducing him as president."

In 2015, his son Joseph "Beau" Biden III, an Iraq war veteran who had served as Delaware's attorney general, died from brain cancer at age 46.

Following his inauguration on Wednesday, Biden plans to sign dozens of executive orders and send sweeping bills to Congress during his first days in office, aiming to roll back some of Donald Trump's signature policies on immigration and climate change while taking action to ramp up the government's response to the coronavirus crisis.

It's hard. Him losing his first wife and daughter, then his son?

That is hard.

As much as I dissaggre with him on policy and think that he’s a bad president I gotta respect him. He’s been through a lot. He tries to act like he’s okay but it still hurts. You can see it in his eyes. I just wish he took it easy on him self and bought a house on the land and enjoyed his years with his wife and his son Hunter.
R.I.P Beau

When I heard that Joe Biden lost his son Beau to a fatal brain cancer, I felt deeply emotionally sorry 😢 for him and his wife Jill. As for the people who mocked and ridiculed Joe Biden because of his stuttering, I say. Shame on them.

As a conservative, I don't like Biden or what he's done to this country....but I do feel bad for him. Nobody should have to bury their kid. I pray that God heals his pain.

What I love about President Biden that he’s not afraid to show his emotions you could tell that he really misses his son.

Ppl can’t even drop politics long enough to sympathize w a man shedding some tears as he remembers his dead son.
And Biden’s the monster...
This is how deeply you have let them divide you.

If he feels, what does it mean to lose a son and a family?
Why did he kill so many children and women?
In Iraq, there is no family that did not kill or lose a person from it

Glad to have him as president now, someone who has emotions, a common man.

There is no humanity in these comments. How would you feel if you had lost a loved one and you got these comments directed to you?
