BEST SCOOTER EXHAUST - LEO VINCE ZX-R UNBOXING!
Показать описание
This was the best price I could find for this ever-so rare exhaust from Italy. Get them while you still can!!
Bought this exhaust from 295ricambiscootermoto on eBay for my 2005 Piaggio Typhoon 50cc 2-stroke. One of the biggest stores from Italy with excellent customer service and the best price I could find shipped to North America. Given how hard it is to find the ZX and the ZX-R from Leo Vince these days, most people would just opt for the Leo Vince TT or other brands such as Gianelli, Arrow, Stage 6, or Yasuni. I particularly like the fit and finish of the Stage 6 compared to the other brands. I have also heard good things about the Arrow Extreme. However, the quality and finish of that exhaust is simply not there when you put it side by side with the Leo Vince. I also like how the canister hanger is hidden from view compared to all the other brands.
Expansion chamber design is definitely not new but a proven technology that works. There are a lot of literature on this phenomenon. Limbach was the original inventor of this design. If you have seen two stroke dirt bikes from companies such as Honda you would realize these expansion chambers come stock from the factory for the added benefits. To summarize how it works, given a specific RPM these expansion chambers - due to their unique shapes (ie varying diameter) are able to create a pressure wave back towards the chamber exhaust port, effectively preventing as much unburned gas/air mixture from escaping. This technology saves gas while improves power. It is therefore particularly useful to the scooter CVT tuning where the engine is designed to operate at a specific RPM most of the time. fStay tuned for the install and test!
This particular model is the Leo Vince ZX-R carbon 4568R with the raw metal expansion chamber. There is also a chrome model that is apparently less likely to rust out. However, I have plans to ceramic coat the exhaust so the surface coating is no matter. The 4568R fits a variety of models
Gilera TYPHOON 50 (2009)
Gilera STORM 50 (fino al 2002)
Gilera TYPHOON (fino al 2002)
Piaggio ZIP 50 KAT (1999 - air cooled)
Piaggio ZIP 50 FAST RIDER
This exhaust is also available for other scooters including the Aprilia SR50R, Aerox, TG Bullet, Peugot Jet Force, Speedfight, Keeway, Soundcheck. Evidently, there is a variety of roller weights that comes with this kit for the different bikes. There are also clutch springs making any additional cost to this particular muffler worthwhile.
