Good. Also needs to be legislation for groups of new housing projects that go to first time home buyers who actually live in that home.

Seems a lot like a NIMBY(not in my backyard) situation. "We're so progressive we want wind turbines, solar panels and immigrants as far as the eye can see.... unless it's in our area...."

the issue is not the housing supply, its the powerful investors wanting more profit over their houses, thats why ppl cant afford housing

Province power grabs are nothing new. GVRD appointments, removing Mayor's influence, that's been going on for decades. And this one is a blame game. We've had DECADES in BC identifying this as a major problem, we have low, low, low interest money for at least TWO decades, and available const. people, but de nada moved forward.
