their reaction was priceless just like in 2007 when Toews scored against them

First highlight of him I've seen since he sniped one against the jets

Yup 100% the next OVechkin...Thought Terasenko would take over that role but this kid has the shot that can get passed goaltenders with ease and I can't wait to see how many goals he can score!

Leafs fan and a fan of the Jets...This kid is insane, he went 4/4 in accuracy shooting and his shot is already over 100 mph too and he is only 18...imagine in a couple years, he's already one of the best snipers in the NHL

As a die hard Leafs fan, I still love Laine a lot as well. The guy is truly a tank!

You really can't give him that space

The Avs are so bad that the commentators are now rooting for other teams

I watched every single one of these videos because I HAD TO SEE THEM.

As an Avalanche fan I'd like everyone to take a moment and appreciate Tyson Barrie's excellent defense on this play. I also want to point out that when I was growing up, 4 was Rob Blake. Tyson doesn't deserve that sweater.

There really ought to be some kind of stellar phenomena named after him.

Avs needs a rebuild this is getting embarassing

I don't like Laine's fanboys, but I love seeing the Avs getting destroyed.

I'm a Jets fan. This hole Laine Matthews thing going on between the two teams fans is silly and pointless.

It's all about the team wins ppl wake up.

That's about a total of 1/2 of one second from when he begins his forward to backwards skating transition till the puck is hitting twine, and about 1/2 of that 1/2 second is after he starts to wind up. He must have done 50, 000 + reps over the years in practice of such a 2 on 1 scenario one-timer. To be fair to the distributor here, if the pass isn't getting the puck flat and in that 9 or so inch "wheelhouse", it's just another fanned-on shot or shot into the corner that never gets made into a highlight.

He shot that almost as hard as the game winner vs Edmonton!

Laine scores here, I like it.
What does that got to do with Matthews?
Or any other player besides Avs or Jets?

Yeah, there are statistic records to chase,
but doesn't that get a bit side tracked?
They're side effects, the teams are there to gain points, to win.
Let's get real, eh?

Enjoy Matthews, when his game is hot,
enjoy Laine when he's rolling.
or your other favourites.
- support them when they're down,
show your faithfulness.

I think hockey benefits from all the players, old and new,
who put their effort there. Who give us moments we remember for years.

Check the players' opinions, who they value, and why.
And who they hate. Who is not classy, and who's a legend.

You know he's legit when biased American commentators praise him

Does anyone know what Landeskog was gesturing too after the goal?
