Hour Of Code Nepal | 2020 | Deerwalk Developers Community

Deerwalk Developers Community successfully organized ‘Hour Of Code Nepal’ event in 5 different Schools on 16th February, 2020.
The community, along with some volunteers from different batches of DWIT, were divided into 5 different groups to conduct the event in each school from 10 AM to 12 PM. Each team was assigned one school each.

Each team faced different situations in their respective schools. Some school had no internet whereas some had not much students interested in coding and some didn’t have proper management of the labs and time schedule. Despite the several problems, it was a successful event.

At the end of the day, all the students were satisfied with the session and requested us to visit more in the future which made our event grand. Their satisfaction made our event more grand and encouraged our community to conduct such sessions in the future despite of the problems that needs to be faced.

Overall the event was a success as the response from both students and teachers of the respective schools were highly positive. All the students had a happy face with the energy of learning something different. They were proud of making a game by themselves which they used to play. The teachers insisted us to conduct the event in the near future as it was highly productive.

Deerwalk Developers Community plans to conduct these events in the near future.
