I think the 98 broncos is arguably the best team of all time.

The end of the Dolphins' FG drive is an interesting case study in how much things have changed over the last 25 years. 4th and 2 from the opponent's 5, early second quarter, down 14, defense clearly struggling after giving up two long drives. Today, I suspect that nearly all coaches would go for it in that situation, figuring that you have to try and keep pace. If you succeed, you have a good chance to get the margin to one score (i.e., you've either scored a TD or gotten 1st and goal inside the three), and if you fail, you've got the opponent pinned back. A FG leaves it a two-score game, which really isn't very helpful when the other team has been running over your defense. If you sent out the FG unit today, at the very least, you would get some serious pushback from the commentary booth. Yet, Jimmy sent the FG unit out back then and seemingly nobody batted an eye.

The Broncos were never concerned about going undefeated, they wanted to show that winning Super Bowl 32 was no fluke. I personally think this was Denver's best team going 17-2 after all was said & done!

The beginning of the divisional round blowouts. At least the Broncos won the Super Bowl that year

this broncos team in 1998 was dominant man. They just ran through nearly everyone all year. Most of the games werent even close lol. A top 10-12 team of all time for sure. i remember watching this game thinking they were gonna win by 50

Our very aggressive defense used to give up way too many big plays.

This was Dan Marino's last chance to go to the Superbowl and best team since the 80s

The NFL really blew it by not scheduling more Broncos vs. Dolphins games in the 90s. Denver played Buffalo about every year. It could have been Miami. Elway vs. Marino should've been a rivalry. Instead we got Elway vs. Kosar. The NFL learned their lesson when Manning & Brady came along.

Miami seemed to always be in playoff games like this in 90's.Coming off an exciting wild card win only to go on road to a rested opponent and get steamrolled

Look at the effect of the bye. Miami was completely out-manned from the jump due to injuries
