Super early bird here. Got my light in November. White Uv version. Everything works perfect except UV being too weak. Usable for my needs to charge lume on watches etc. Absolutely love this piece of tech. The fact that it has all the function on a single aa as well is amazing. Its super versatile with all its functionality.

So I’ve heard a few people say they love the Wuben. I would like to say I love my wuben, BUT I never received mine from the kickstarter on the light 2+ years ago. I’ve sent countless messages and gmails to both kickstarter and Wuben with nothing to show for it. So I personally will never support a company that rips people off.

Don’t mean to crap on the video cus it’s very well done. I just think it’s important to hi light when companies fall short.

I have the black one with UV. Unless you're using the UV to check the UV strip in money, it's a worthless light. I'd go with the RBG option. The black one makes it hard to see the light switch. I'm going to buy the white RBG when they're available again. The link provided shows all sold out. I do like the side light and the dial. The UV is way too weak for any value at distances over 10". The rear contacts are for a slide on switch. I have it, but don't use it. I have not seen a remote switch adapter.

Its a really nice versatile light, my only downside is why an added accessory to get a tail switch, should have been integrated in the light. Thanks for the video well done review :)

It's OK. I got it as a Kickstarter bonus and it came with the tail switch. Holding it in a position where the taillight is under your thumb feels a little awkward because the mode switch and wheel are on the bottom of the unit - not very friendly for one-handed use. If you use it without the tail switch, but still hold it in an upright fist with your thumb over the battery door, you can put the switch and knob/wheel on top, but for right handers, that puts the side light pointing into your fist. And the lanyard hole is then on top. So... overall, not crazy about the ergonomics. I like the removable batteries, magnetic base, locking battery door, sidelight and light modes. The tension on the clip feels usable - not too tight or loose. So far, I haven't found the tail switch to be very useful. The mode switch feels a little loose, like a fit and finish issue. It's probably fine, but it doesn't feel as solid as the rest of the unit. Overall, I'd give it a B+. (Also, the Wuben slogan on the side is a little laughable - "This is not flashlight. This is Wuben ECL." Yeah, OK. But it's a flashlight. :) And if they're going to stick with that, they should at least add an "a" to "This is not a flashlight".
