Doh! I've been breeding Titanoboas for years, I had no Idea you guys were looking.
I needed something to feed all my extra Ivory Billed Woodpeckers too.

The crazy thing about species is that humans only travel to specific places in specific regions. There is so much untouched wilderness. We think just because we see it on a map or satellite image that we know something about it.

It's fun to get a video like this with updates. I'd seen a video about people who're looking for the Tasmanian Tiger, but I didn't know it was getting this credible and expansive.

Forest Galante just a few weeks ago put out a new video regarding discovering thylacine on Papua New Guinea! It’s incredibly interesting!

I thought you were holding a burrito at the beginning.
Threw me for a loop when it started moving.

i just gotta say, everytime i start getting bored with the reptile community you bring me right back to it!

6:14 The reddish color, uneven coat and lack of obvious stripes make it hard for me to believe this isn't a fox with mange. I want to believe the thylacine is still around too, but it's probably not in Australia.

I didn't find anything in the original article about the size of the new species, including in the supplementary material. The information that has reached me says that Dr. Freek Vonk's post that raised the hype about the size of the new species was recorded in the Brazilian Pantanal, and so the snake that appears is a southern green Anaconda.

Brian would be going crazy about the new Anaconda he'd be trying to figure out how to keep them, captive breed them and socialise them.

Makes sense to me that the heaviest current snake snd the largest ever are/were both for the most part fully aquatic animals.

This is a great bit of content to cover! As someone interested in reptiles and animals who isn’t currently looking for any more, I personally would love to see more videos like this from you!

I found your channel through your care guides, but this sort of news and talk of animals is something I’d be more likely to watch over a care guide for a reptile I’m not planning on getting :0 ofc this is me personally and the care guides are invaluable to new owners of species/reptiles in general, I guess a mix is probs best but hey it’s your channel do what you find fun ha!
